The Covid-19 pandemic has forced organisations of all regions, sizes and sectors to reorganise. If it is true that large companies have increased means to operationalize this process, bypassing with some ease the various obstacles, for many SMEs the situation can be much more complicated: the response capacity is lower and the need to close doors represents a huge challenge in many cases.
However, we know that many of the small and medium enterprises of the Global Compact Network Portugal are adopting innovative strategies and adapting successfully to these new times, namely by manufacturing products which are now more in demand, using new distribution channels and changing the way they communicate with their supply chains, among others.
